This is my 3rd "real" attempt to change things. I guess that's the best way to put it. On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, I weighed in at 238 pounds. I stand roughly 5'6". I will turn 49 years old on July 28th. I have a long list of chronic medical issues that severely impact my quality of life. I am afraid that if I don't lose at least 63 pounds (getting down to 175) I will get worse and worse. I'd like to even get down to 155, hitting 83 pounds lost. At my heaviest, I was, I believe, well over 300 pounds. I had quit weighing myself, but know I gained a lot. We will go with 300. I have dealt with weight issues my whole life. My first real 'success' with losing weight was after my kids were born. They were close in age, so, My 2nd big loss was around 60 pounds! Of course it didn't take much to put 20 of it back on. 250 is still a lot...I carried it awhile...with my chronic medical issues, I eventually even got back up to 260. My second loss was after I gained even more back. After hitting 280 again, I managed, just a couple of years ago, to get as low as 228... But now, between my degenerative disk disease, my cluster headaches, and my abdominal adhesion related disorder, I am bouncing consistently between 235 and 245. For the past year. I can't get healthier if I don't lose weight. I can't heal my back if I don't lose weight. I can't improve my marriage if I don't lose weight. I just can't do.... And I am a stress eater. (With a massive amount of new stress in my life lol.) So my Doc has put me on Phentermine, I have my step-daughter (age 15) living here now to offer me in-house accountability, plus an exercise partner. And both my husband and her love veggies and yummy healthy food, so it should be easier to stay on track that way. Plus, now I have something wrong with my stomach, and should be eating way before they do, so my stomach is empty when I go to bed lol, no more late night, insomnia-munchies) So there's my story- most of it anyway. With y'all's support and encouragement, I should be able to get this done! I am already stoked, and inspired by the few things I've read... So... GAME ON!
