Once upon a time I had a couple paragraphs of my ups and downs with weight loss here, but they don't matter anymore. I'm here, and I'm losing weight. The past and all its failures are unimportant.

I'm not pushing to lose any certain amount per week; I just plan to eat healthy foods and exercise and see what my body does with it. It's disappointing when the scale doesn't move (or moves the wrong way!) but it's part of the process, and I'm not going to starve myself or exercise until I pass out just to get better results. This is a journey towards a healthy weight, not a race to the "finish" line; there isn't even a finish line, I'll have to be very careful with my weight and eating habits for a lifetime and it doesn't just end once I hit that magic number I have set in my head as a goal. That's why it's a lifestyle change.

I have no real weight loss/lifestyle change support in my life, nobody to keep me motivated, so if you need a Spark Buddy, send me a message! I love meeting new people, and I would really love to have someone on the same journey to talk to!

My Goals:
I have been overweight to some degree or another since junior high school, so I'm not really sure what I want my goal to be. Right now I have set a temporary goal picked from the middle of what the doctors say is a healthy weight range for me, and I plan to see how I look and feel once I get in that general area. For now, I plan to get down to 145lbs and see how I feel.

My Program:
I am just getting ready to start a new exercise routine. I do a lot of exercise DVDs, because it's more convenient for me.

As far as eating goes, I stay within my ranges that SparkPeople provides, and choose healthy foods to get me there. This truly has been a lifestyle change, just as it has to be. I've learned so much about eating better, and I can't say I'll never eat another chocolate chip cookie or fast food burger, but they are sporadic treats now, not staples of my diet.

    Thanks for stopping by! :) So, how do you like the pharm tech life? I didnt actually go to school for it and now Im having to study for the registry. Which sucks! haha And Im needing to go back to school for Cat scan but I have to get this pharm tech test out of the way first! whew! haha Well, stop by anytime!! emoticon
