I'm 27 years old and have successfully lost some much needed weight. I want to learn ways to lose weight and keep it off now that the "diet" is over. I'm super motivated and ready to change!

I am 24 weeks in on my new healthier lifestyle. I've lost 41.7 pounds so far and am feeling great! I am ready to start maintaining and am a bit scared. The maintaining part will probably be much harder than actually losing the weight..at least for me. I've been reading and researching ways to maintain and not sabatage myself once I reach my weight goal. I CAN DO IT!!!

My Goals:
I've lost 41.7 pounds so far in 24 weeks and I'm proud!
I have lost the weight before and sabatage myself by going back to my old ways shortly after I get down to a desired weight. NOT THIS TIME!


My Program:
129.9- cute new dress to wear at a wedding.

127-new jeans

125- My Goal!!! Go out and celebrate with Friends!!!:-) BMI of 22.5/ MET MY GOAL!!!!!

After meeting my goal of 125, I decided to make my goal a bit less. I'm just planning to lose 2 more pounds.

New Weight Goal- 123/ MET on 8-13-11

I have decided that I am stopping at 122 and then starting maintenence.



Personal Information:
I'm 27 years old and a teacher. I am starting at a new school this year teaching 3rd grade transitional English. My school is a mile outside Chicago. I'm SUPER excited to start, but a little nervous that I won't be able to keep up with my healthy lifestyle....I CAN DO IT!

    yeah..after my weigh-in I binged a little cuz I was "done" with the photoshoot.
    So..I was thinking how am i gona possibly maintain my weight after my program is done. I have to think LIFESTYLE Change...but i am such a foodie I CANT deprive myself of carbs and sugar all the time.
    Its gona be tough but eventually you and I will find the balance. Im planning to lose mayb 4 more pounds

    Iread your post on the what do you weigh thread. Very good idea. You derverve a reward. When I go out I order what I want but bring half home. Going out to eat is a treat for me. I love someone serving me and not having to clean up after. It's a time to enjoy and not stress about what's on your plate! emoticon emoticon Have a good time. I gave myself a break yesterday. I relaxed on my calorie burn even though I shouldn't have but I figure it's going to happen sooner or later and if I'M the one who decides and not my body, I'd be less likely to suffer a burnout!
