Hi all! Thanks for visiting my SparkPage!

My name is Laura - I'm 26 and from a small-ish town in Northern Ohio. I just got a job full-time working in a gym and I can't wait to see where this takes me in life! I know things are only going to get better.

I have been overweight since middle school and since high school have lost around 50 pounds. During the past year or so, my weight has fluctuated by about 10 pounds or so; though now it seems to be on the down-slide towards my goal. I really am so happy I found SparkPeople because the information I have learned from the blogs, articles and people on this site is incredible!

I am constantly trying to improve myself, both inside and out. I am going to proud of not only of my physical, but also those accomplishments I have made mentally, emotionally, and in my career as well.

My Goals:

I want to start getting healthy by creating habits, not just random goals so my new healthy "habit goals" are:
-record everything I eat, everyday
-drink and record 8 glasses of water a day
-blog about my progress at least 2 times a week
-visit the gym before work during the week. That's going to be one (maybe two) times at 6 am and two times at 8am. The other times are going to be on Saturday and Sunday.

more to be added, I am sure. These are going to be what I reward myself on from now on!
- rewards every 2 weeks for consistent behavior:
---reward 1: new book for my Kindle
---reward 2: day for just me - with no electronic distractions!
---reward 3: pedicure
---reward 4: new shoes
---reward 5: new clothes
