February 2018:
About 5 years ago I lost 25-30 pounds, but I gradually regained it all back - and several more. Now is the struggle to lose it again. Never give up!

Mar. 2014:
In a bit of a struggle right now with food, but signed on for another WWAW session. I had a hibernating type of winter in which I did some 30-day fitness challenges at home. My exercise is picking up now. I'm back to Jazzercise classes once a week, and trying to do some group fitness classes at the gym as well. Must "keep on keeping on".

Mar. 2013:
Still tracking on SP and now joined ww@work, which my employer is sponsoring. Making progress. Still trying to get my "exercise act" together.

Sept. 2012:
Been tracking my food using the SP tracker. It's been very helpful and now that I've been doing it for about a month, it's not as tedious or time-consuming as it was at the beginning.

May 2011:
I've had a Sparkpeople account and even a SparkPage for a long time but never did much with it. Mostly I just came here to visit a friend with a page. But now I'd like a fresh start.

Fitness Minutes: 292

My Goals:
I want to lose about 45 - 50 pounds so I am out of the obese AND overweight categories. Okay, and I want to look better too!

My Program:
I like being physically active. I like exercise classes - a set day/time provides a discipline I don't have in myself. I struggle with eating and eat out of boredom and stress. I don't follow a foodplan, and I'm stubbornly resistant to "diets". I wish I liked healthier foods more than junk food. Sorry, that's probably not very motivating. I think I could learn to like healthy foods.

Personal Information:
I've lived in the Midwest US all my life.

Other Information:
I like reading and movies and sometimes sewing. Taken up an interest in personal finance because I want to retire someday!
