    Hey Karen! Don't despair!

For some reason, when I start a diet, whether it be WW or a diet my Naturopath puts me on, I tend to lose a lot at the beginning, but trust me, it will slow down!

I haven't been an exercise person EVER. So this is new to me. I love going to the personal trainer 2x/week, but I am only going for a few more sessions, as it is VERY pricey! It was a treat to myself to give me a strong start.

When I am finished with the personal trainer, I have a BOSU ball at home, a Swiss ball, some resistance bands, and Wii fit. From perusing all the exercises on SP, I really think I could easily meet my exercise needs with these (inexpensive yet effective) pieces of fitness equipment.

It will be especially nice to be able to do workouts at home instead of driving 20 minutes to the PT - especially when the snow starts flying - which we know could happen any day in this part of the world!!

I have heard from so many people, as well, that walking has made a HUGE difference in their weight loss.

So get out there before the weather turns ugly!!

And don't give up!! There's too much to gain - physically, emotionally and psychologically.

Good for you!! Isn't it awesome out there enjoying it while you can? I know that soon I will have no choice but to use my treadmill but I intend to go as long as I can for my outdoor walks! 45 minutes outside seems to be over just like that but 45 inside on the treadmill, going nowhere, ha ha seems to take forever! LOL
Thanks for making my day. I am glad I inspired someone!I am adding you as a friend so I can keep in touch and see all your progress! emoticon emoticon emoticon
