Hello. I've been on a weight loss journey for years, and I'm overjoyed to report that I have experienced major success in the last few months.

More and more, however, I am recognizing that it's time for me to really go deeper into this part of me, and to address my essential issues with food.

Like many of you, I'm here to learn and to grow. I wish you the best!

My Goals:
*Develop an ever more positive and loving relationship to exercise

*Exercise 3 to 4 times a week for 45 minutes each time

*Meditate everyday

*Blog my findings once a week

*Understand my relationship to food, and cultivate a lasting, happy and healthy connection between body and mind

*Become a certified exercise instructor one day!

*Come to the point where I feel as though I can wear whatever I want

*Spread the love, everyday in every way...

My Program:
11/16/10- Right now, I'm working through my remaining issues with food. I realized that I am absolutely done feeling powerless to it. I am done with obsessing. I am done with trying to fill in the holes with food.

I am building a relationship to food and exercise based on freedom, forgiveness, and self love by increasing my self-awareness and positive thinking.

From now on, I will tell myself every day that I can be exactly who I want to be, and that I love myself and I am worthy of love.

It's not about the weight- it's about the wait...

I'm a dedicated vegetarian, and made that choice out of love and respect for all of God's creatures (including me!).

I love movies and my majors in school are English Literature and Film & Media Arts.

I'll be studying abroad in Amman, Jordan starting in January. The Middle East comprises one of my major areas of intellectual interest, and I am absolutely filled with gratitude that I have the opportunity to go to Jordan for a semester.

    Hey there, I read one of your comments about eating in the 20's forum.

    Binge eating is something I've dealt with as long as I can remember and it's been such a mental and emotional battle. (THANK GOD, I don't weigh 300 lbs like I probably should!)

    Thought I could relate.
