My story of who I was isn't important. It's who I am becoming that is.

I've gone from being athletic to a couch potato and am working on getting back to my athletic self again. The why's of my slip into couch potato-dom isn't important. The why's just sound like excuses. They ARE just excuses. I want the healthier me back and that's what I'm going to work hard to get.

I've been working on this journey for nearly 2 years. I make progress, then slip up and halt my forward momentum. Life gets busy and I've chosen to do other things instead of continuing my program. Along the way I've gained healthier habits and have kept from backsliding. But now I've got to find consistency and keep moving forward to a better, healthier me.

I'm a little timid about riding my horses right now at my current weight. It impedes me and holds me back. It leaves me afraid of falling and failing. So, I'm getting healthy for me, and for them.

One of my biggest ambitions is to show my horses. I sure plan to this coming year. Now, just to get fit, healthy and conquer my fears!

Fitness Minutes: 10,664

My Goals:
Lose 60 lbs by December 1st, 2010.

Feel good and not be so sore daily.

Ride my horses soon.

Lose 10% of total body weight:

1st 10%- May 2010
2nd 10%-

Eat healthier.

Break up workout throughout the day.

50 minutes of cardio or yoga daily.

C25K program!

Run 5k race in April

Strength training 6 days a week (alternate upper body, lower body, core)
