I want to tell you a little bit about my recent history. I am a diabetic and I have been for many years. About 7 months ago I made up my mind to stop eating anything with sugar in it or that turned to sugar in my body. My goal was to keep my carbs under 30 to 20 grams a day and to get my A1C down from 8.0 to normal.
On May 27th I saw my doctor and I got a message from him on May 29th telling me that he wanted to congratulate me on the enormous success demonstrated by my labs. You are no longer showing any evidence of diabetes, elevated liver enzymes, or elevated triglycerides. Your A1C is 5.0.
I told you this to encourage you (not to brag) in hopes that it will help you, with whatever your health situation is.

Hey! I fell off the wagon in October and put on the weight I lost unfortunately. I am back now and started the Weight Watchers program last week! I lost 4lbs my first week of following the program and am feeling motivated to really do it this time!
