Introduction Text I joined Spark People about a year ago. I thought the weight would just start falling off; but it didn't. I got discouraged and it seemed my whole life was about weight loss, sacrifice and no results. I am starting over again and am going to be more realistic about my goals and medical conditions. If I want things to be different then I have to make them different and if i don't then I need to stop torchering myself. I love photography. It motivates me to leave the house and walk. My beloved pet helps me with my depresssion. He gets me out of bed because I have to let him outside and feed him. He loves to got for car rides and play in the park. I like to grow flowers and herbs. I have a small plot out side my apartment. I like to visit the butterfly exhibit. It cheers me up. I am greiving the loss of our service animal. He was a very good dog and great companion. I rescued him and his other brothers and sisters and found them all homes except for him. There was something extra special about him. I tested him to see if her cold be a service animal and he passed with flying colors! Even though I kept him to help my autistic son, I grew to love him like family. I'd ask my son if he feed his "little brother" or took him for his walk. He slept in my room until I fell asleep then he'd creep up on the bed. once he got old I stopped kicking him off the bed. I figured the poor litttle doggie deserved a little luxury after a life of good work. I can't immagine any other animal ever being that perfect for our family. He was unique and wonderful.
