July 2012: Buwaha, well, I haven't posted here in a while, but I did get down to about 130 for about a year, Slowly I've crept back up, even though I run at least 3 half marathons a year. What is the problem? My old nemesis, the calorie. I just eat too many of them. Over and over I have to learn the same lesson: LOG EVERY BITE. Hocrap, it's so time consuming, but I have a closet full of embarrassingly tight clothes, so I gotta lose 12 pounds, all over again. The same pounds go off, go on, go off, go on. Can I do it this time!? Can I? I'm sure damn well going to try! I have supercute clothes just waiting to be worn!

Older posts below:

For someone who loves clothes as much as I do, I can't believe how fat I got! This is my journey back into "cute clothes" territory. It may sound shallow, but being fit and being able to "fit" into the clothes I want energizes me. So in the end, it's health I want, but to look good, too. :D (Written in 2006)

2008: I'm back in Cute Clothes territory. I run 5x per week, and have lost 30 pounds since I wrote that first entry. I followed through on all my goals, and exceeded them, as well as surpassing all my expectations. I still plan on losing 5 more lbs., as it has not been hard to lose weight, or stay on track, and I think that would optimize my running (for me, at my age).

2009: Still running, but cut back to 4x per week to accommodate cycling as a non-impact cross training for upcoming half marathons, and various other races.
Very careful to get enough calories, and keep a healthy balance of carbs and proteins.
Weakness: drinking the recommended daily amount of water!

My Goals:
Stay injury free.

Speed up my "comfortable" running pace.

Start moving up the rolls on race results (currently I float near the top of the bottom third).

Get 8 hours of sleep a night.

My Program:
I have found my perfect exercise: running. I also love bicycling and Pilates.
I run 4X per week, Pilates 2X and Cycling 2X.

I loosely monitor my calories through Sparkpeople, and work towards keeping a good balance of protiens, carbs and nutrients. I don't worry too much about calories from fat, as long as I get enough (my eating style is pretty low in fat, anyway, sugar's my challenge).

Personal Information:
Hmm, how personal can I get on the net?
