Hello, I'm Lacey. I'm 26 years old, married, and a dog lover. I am also a graduate student in a doctoral program so stress, a crazy schedule, and little sleep are a huge part of my life:) My goal is not to be a super skinny chick. I would love to just be average sized, healthy, and happy with my body. I began gaining weight right after I turned 20 and have had a hard time losing it. I am ready to stop dieting and make a life change. I began making changes in my diet at the end of March and have so far lost a total of 23 pounds. Now its getting hard and I am looking to use this as a way of support. Hope it works!!

My Goals:
I started this in April at 219.8lbs and my goal is 145. I am now down to 185 (WHOO HOO) and I have 40 more lbs to go!!

I just got back from a 3 week diet/exercise break (I was on vacation). Now it is time to get back on track and set new goals:

Goal 1: Lose 15lbs by 9-19!
Goal 2: Lose 30lbs by 10-31!
Goal 3: Lost 40lbs by 12-5!

These may change, but I am aiming high!

My Program:
I am not sticking to any particular program at any given time. I am changing it up as I go, because I get bored really easy. Sometimes I may be strictly sticking to one particular thing and other times I may be just simply watching what I eat and working out a few times a week. Also, I don't want to feel stuck to one program or another. I just want to live and get healthy in the process...that is why this is not a diet for me, but a total life changing experience. Once I have lost the weight, I want to just maintain it.

Personal Information:
I am currently living in Mckinney, Texas, but I am from Louisiana and will always be a country girl at heart. I am married to my high school sweetheart and although we have no children (YET), we have two crazy dogs. I am a graduate student who just finished all coursework and is starting a year internship soon! Stress and a hectic schedule have always contributed to my weight. However, I am now ready to take back control and get healthy!

This site is amazing, I have been on here 5 months and with all the support and encouragement for my emoticon 's I have lost almost 60 pounds so far and I just recently ran an entire mile. When I first started Spark I was barely able to walk a mile and now I am running!
