Fitness Minutes: 52,905

My Goals:
Be healthy and happy.

My Program:
 It's hard to get off the last few pounds and I'm so close. I have hypothyroidism which makes losing difficult so maybe I should maintain as I've been doing and just keep tracking. I'll never be a size 6 again and at my age I'm satisfied with just keeping fit and enjoying life.


Personal Information:
Born 1950. I have severe arthritis (since my mid-30's) and have undergone multiple hand surgeries (joint fusions, replacements, etc.) I also had a triple cervical fusion. Now have hypothyroidism. Old age ... gotta love it.



Other Information:
 I've been married since 1981 to a great guy; no children. I have two wonderful cats that are the light of my life. Over the years I've always had cats that live to a ripe old age (the two recent losses were 20 years old and 16 years old) and one dog (a Westie) that lived to 16 which was almost unheard of as they usually live only 10-12 years.

I attend a wonderful Church and enjoy my immediate family and friendships.

    We're doing ok. Honestly, I think there's so much relief that he's not suffering anymore.

    Sometimes I think they suffer on purpose at the end just to force us to let go and have some relief. I do miss him. He was such a big presence...but aren't they all!
    Miss Lily is being pampered and spoiled like crazy (not that they both weren't before), but she's really getting the royal treatment now! She's a great comfort.
    Hope your babies are doing ok!

    I've been so blessed by everyone on SP as well as my friends over here.
