No time like the present to get back on the band wagon of health. I've lost 65 pounds but would like to lose another 60 or 70 pounds, watching what I eat and keeping with a daily exercise plan.
The people here are great and always full of encouragement-I never have to look far for a good word or fun people to talk with.

Fitness Minutes: 5,126

My Goals:
I want to be healthier and keep up with my husband as well as my nieces and nephew-they are all wild!!

My Program:
I watch intake of everything: fat grams, calories, etc. And I walk daily for at least 45 minutes.

Personal Information:
We live in Kansas and love to travel and spend time with our families and friends.

We have two cats and two dogs, all spoiled beyond belief. (We lost Jenny the cat in December 2009-God bless her little kitty soul!!)

I love to cook for my family and friends-not always easy considering my goal, but I find ways to cut fat and calories without losing taste. I don't deny myself anything, but I don't go crazy with portions either.

Everytime I think I want to eat 14 of something, I think how much I would rather run with my nephew in the park, and the craving subsides.

Other Information:
GET MOVING!!! Every minute you spend getting some sort of physical exercise brings you that much closer to your goal.

My game plan is keeping my fat grams to 35 a day, and calories to around 1200. I do this with 3 meals a day and snacks. Menus vary-I try to cook as much as I can but we do keep Healthy Choice meals on hand. I love their pizzas!!! (Footnote: I just found out they are discontinuing the pizzas I like-I may go into mourning.)
