05/03/21: Happy to be back and working on my eating plans to lose then maintain weight. I am currently down 27# from my starting weigh on March 1.

04/10/2021: back at it again! down 23, looking to keep moving that way and support from many sources being utilized.

Jan 4, 2018: Wishing the world a year full of love and miracles. I have been blessed with 2 in the past week and want to pass this on to others. going to be on the Minions BLC this winter and looking forward to the challenge of a daily task.

Dec. 6, 2017: another change, another day. an SP friend , or two, have sent some encouragement from Fb, so I am back to jump on another wagon. Here is to continued motivation and success for 2018.

June 11, 2017

Today I am officially retired from my career, from part time work (at least for now) and ready to fly life. I have joined BLC 34 Midnight Mustangs and am working on eating healthier. Excited to have spark always ready!!

08/18: Guess timing must be everything. I come back and find out the BLC spark is still in business and registration is open. Good way to start a new health journey with new and old friends!!

    Both are paid for programs. Naturally Slim (name change coming soon to Wondr Health) costs about $300 - $400.00 a year. It is a program that teaches one to eat only when hungry, eat only foods you love (healthier foods obviously will bring better results). It also deals with emotions and meeting your basic emotional needs with things other than food. Limiting sugar is also an important part of this program. So, in this program most people eat 2 times a day with some eating 3 times and others eating only once. I'm in the 2.5 times a day category most of the time (2 meals one day, 3 meals the next). I've written up blogs explaining this program in more detail in the past.

    Virgin Pulse is corporate sponsorship only that I've seen. It is a walking based program where you earn points for steps/active minutes. There is also a focus on overall health but is not specifically a weight loss program. You can also earn points by completing other health related tasks. Certain number of points leads to $$. In my company we can earn up to $250.00 a year (by goals met quarterly). Base is 7,000 steps a day or 15 "active" minutes. Because it is corporate sponsored only I don't mention this one much Spark People.
