Introduction Text I have been slowly losing weight over the past year and a half after a high weight of 185 pounds. I began running on January 5, 2010 and have since become hooked. In 2010, I ran many 5Ks, an 8K, and in September of 2010, I completed my first Half Marathon. At a checkup this fall, I found that I had dropped my cholesterol by 25 points and am pretty darn close to a healthy BMI. Now that I'm getting closer to my goal, I need to dial in the nutrition. There is a thin line between being accountable and being obsessed, and this is difficult for me. I love being a good example for my kids. It's great to have them run me in at races and hear them yell, "Run, Momma, Run!". Pretty soon they will be old enough to join me!
