Life moves on no matter what I do to move toward or away from my goals. I am in it for the long haul so here I am making small and meaningful changes everyday so that next year, I can say I am closer to my goals instead of moving away from them!

"Life is a journey. It takes so many twists and turns--sometimes unexpected and sometimes planned." That was my intro I edited in Nov 2009. Little did I know at that time that I as pregnant again!! Big shocker considering that my oldest is now 25, and I have a 23 yr old then our 1st surprise--Morgan (7 yr old) and now Chelsi!

"Often, it isn't until we look back that we really understand why we are where we are or how we got there."-- Right. I am still scratching my head on this part of my journey.

"This journey to health is mine to determine. I am the captain. I will steer my ship where I want it to go, even if it is into uncharted waters. I will be brave" .--Well little did I know 18 mos ago when I wrote this that I was about to have an epically twisted journey that I could not steer if I tried. And believe me I tried! The 5 tenents of Tae kwon do are courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. My committment to these will help guide me on this journey and many others throughout life.

I don't know how long or where this journey will ultimately lead me, but it is my journey nonetheless. Thanks for following along with me!

    Thank you for your comments on my blog. I do love my garden, it is my peace, and my sanity saver (as well as good exercise!)

    I am working on the issue of letting go of the weight, and my sense of identity with it. For me, it is about finding a balance between a healthy weight and a healthy body image. If that ends up being not skinny, then I'm ok with that, as long as i am healthy, then I'm happy!

    Thanks for the friend add and right back at ya! I like to keep the emphasis on positive. It is so easy to be blown off course and fall into The Pit of Despair. Being positive helps me pick myself up, dust myself off and find my way back to the journey path to success.

    Your right - I will still journal as I do everyday but I really love to bog its like giving up coffee for me ! But right now I need to Train - I will still be supportive - what bad habits today missy ? Do tell - Hugs K Thanks
