Hi my name is Kristen and I’ve been on here for a few months...tracking my fitness and nutrition. I think its time to get more involved...so I decided to create my sparkpage. I really like this website for all the tools and the motivation. It's kept me going when I really wanted to quit. Although...I find myself not concentrating too much on the weekends...I track my food/fitness religiously everyday throughout the week. So far I have lost 15 lbs and have 15 more to go. The last 15 have been a pain. I have been slacking throughout the summer due to the heat and humidity. I am now getting back into my training for races and what not. I am ready to lose the last 15 and keep it off. I love running, ok…not really…I mean who likes running…but I do like the races…so the training is worth it…knowing that I can run 8 mi straight if I put the time and effort into it. It’s an accomplishment! But since I live in FL I have a hard time running in the heat and find myself not running as much in the summer time. But now some big races are coming up...and I need to get back to the point where I can make it more than 3 mi and not be out of breath! I know I can do it!

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 15lbs. Its frustrating b/c its not coming off as fast and I have lost my motivation. I am happy that I haven’t gone up...so I am not complaining. Next week I start my training for a 1/2 marathon in Nov...I am hoping that will help my motivation! I am still staying positive and know that I can accomplish my goal!


My Program:
I don't have a program per se... but I do log my food and fitness daily (or try my hardest to) and I try to exercise 5 days a week. I try to eat as healthy as I can.

    My weekend was ok. Not bad but nothing fun.

    I got another 3.5 miles in yesterday and felt pretty good. My shins where tight for the first mile and then after that I was good.
    I have noticed my pace has been affected by either heat or lack of training (or both)

    I got 5 easy miles in on Saturday. I missed this mornings spin class because its a holiday and I didn't know if they were still doing it.

    This is what I am looking at right now. I think I am going to back off a little in November. I will run space coast but other than that if I run everything that I have planned I will run a 5k, 2 halfs and a full. That is way too much especially if I want to PR SC.
