    The chicken barley soup sounds delicious. I grew up on Scotch Broth (Campbells, haven't had it in years). But I do have a lot of barley in my deep freeze, left over from Y2K, because my husband bought about 10 buckets of diferent things "in case". Ha! Anyway, I need to find ways to use it up. I have started adding an 1/4 cup to my brown rice. It was in the Spark Recipes.

    Hi Krickett,
    Great to hear from you, I have been busy this week, and I just weighed myself, and I am down another .9 of a pound. I am pleased with that considering I have bad fluid in my legs today, and I will try harder this next week,I need to drink more water,I havent been drinking as much, because of the cold weather I seem to go for hot drinks,and cuppa soups, even though they low cal, they still have sodium, and that causes fluid retention.
