I'm 57 years old have been with SparkPeople for 6 years. I've learned over this time that I have more stamina than I ever thought possible to make so many healthy choices for myself.

I am married with 3 kids and have worked the overnight shift for 26 years. My kids are 24, 21 & 19 and it's all they've ever known. They've been busy with sports and school events and I've found that it's been so hard to keep up with everything for them and live healthy.

I've recently finished my training to become a Certified Health Coach with Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I am learning a ton of new things about healthy living and eating. I am looking forward to a new career to spread my healthy lifestyle to new people.

I'm going to start working a 7 on/7 off schedule in July. I'll still be working the night shift (10 hour shifts) but my work week will go from Monday night through Sunday night of the next week. Not really looking forward to it but the other night pharmacist that works opposite me has been pushing for it so I'm going to give it a try.

My Goals:
1. Hoping to stay within 5 pounds of my goal weight.

2. Drink 16 glasses of water daily upon recommendations of my chiropractor

3. Continue my 10 minute exercise streak. Hit 1,374 days before having to restart on August 2, 2015

4. Strength Train 2 times per week.

5. Run my 3rd half marathon

7. Utilize my Holistic Health Coach certification

I am logging my Nutrition and Fitness daily.

Eating healthy.

Going Organic as much as my budget allows.

Getting my family to eat healthy also

Completed 30 days of 10-minute daily exercise challenge and will keep my streak going.

My husband, Ed, and I have 3 kids, 2 cats and 2 dogs.
I work the 3rd shift as a pharmacist.
I love to read and find that it's hard to balance my love of reading with my need for exercise. Since I work the night shift I have had trouble fitting exercise into my life on the days that I have to work and life interferes.
