I am an outgoing, cheerful person who wants to be leaner and remain healthy for a long time. My previous efforts to lose or manage my weight have been successful because I eat healthy foods. Currently working on portion control. 2/10/19 Down 10 lbs since rejoining SP 3/13/19 Lots of celebrations the past month; b-days & anniversary. Need to better manage the sweets & alcohol. 3/28/19 Down to 215, another 5 lbs gone.☆ 4/24/19 Last day in the office. Retirement! Time to start doing whatever I want. Giving myself time to figure out a routine & see what works. 6/8/19 Down to 210 # 8/2/19 Finally! 205# 11/5/19. My back went out w/ all the stress about moving & Chiropractic isn't helping right now so since I'm being referred for physical therapy, weight loss is on hold. I can maintain but don't have the energy to keep loosing right now. Raised my calorie count range & still tracking & weighing once in a while. 4/25/20. Under contract to sell the house & I just weighed in at 202# Won't be long until we are on our way east. My back is still iffy despite months of PT & daily exercises. I walk around the block, about 10 minutes & that's it. Just cannot take the concrete sidewalks. Am so excited to be planning for a new home w/ a fitness room as a priority for me w/ the kind of equipment I can use that won't aggravate my back. Of course we have to close escrow first & then a long drive. This will be interesting what w/ the virus rules & regs changing & different in each of the lstates. 9/22/20 Moved east & spent time in OK but decided to do something else for my emotional well-being. It was time to separate from my alcoholic husband & take up instead w/ my old college boyfriend who lives in GA & happily looked me up on FB. Came here last month & we just bought another property up north near Grand Rapids MI where we both grew up. That will become our main base most of the year. We are very happy together & it shows. My weight is down to 192 & I feel very in control of my food intake despite recent stressors. Haven't really been tracking due to Wi-Fi issues & new phone but eating healthy 2x daily & better snacking choices. It's great to also hv support from my BF as he is on board w/ weight loss, eating right, watching portions, & getting a regular exercise program going. For us, 2020 has been a good year despite the pandemic. Shows that life goes on no matter what. 12/7/20 Had a recent minor problem so went to a medical clinic & weighed in at 188 w/ very heavy shoes on! We also bought a used elliptical trainer & I've been using it 3-4 x a wk for 15-20 minutes. Now that I'm off those Rx it's time to set new goals. I've been maintaining or losing very slowly for the past several months & want to kick into next level. In Mich I could walk daily on & around our land. Back here in the south it's now mostly the elliptical & some longer tho slower walks. I need to pick up my pace & also knock out some junk food that crept back in. I'm not buying anymore & will finish what is in the house by year end. As for the alcohol that comes w/ the holidays, I'm picking 2 days a week to allow a cocktail or lite beer rather than dessert. All this as I work on my inner self: Reading, journaling, & CoDA meetings (virtual.) 01/27/2021. Down to 187.2 @ a Dr's ofc! I've been eating & drinking w/o really tracking so the elliptical & longer walks on trails has definitely been helping. Clothes very loose, especially pants! Time for new jeans.😍

I am attending Fit Plan at ny physical therapy office 2 x a week. I plan my daily food intake the night before so I know how much I can have and make sure to work in good snacks. Cutting carbs worked for me but now I'm doing Eat to Live instead.

I started a new Team for Gov't workers and Public Servants - both active and retired employees can join.
I love koala bears and have collected them for years. It is important to me to protect these fuzzy vegetarians. They can teach us how not to stress out.
