I am determined to change my mind and my body. I am sick of feeling out of control and hating myself. I've done diets and lost 30 lbs in less than 6 weeks - and then gained it all back (plus an extra 5 lbs) and I'm sick of it! I am about 50 lbs overweight (!) and I am starting a 6 month program to change my lifestyle and get healthy. I know that I may not reach my weight loss goal in that time, but I will be much closer than I am now!

As you can see, I have a lot of goals. My most important goal right now is to post everything I eat on my blog, and so far the accountability of that is making a huge difference.

Oct 1 - 199.8
Oct 8 - 198.6
Oct 15 - 200.0 -- ahhhh!
Oct 22 - 200.0

Goal: 190 - 10 lbs lost!
Goal: Run 1/2 mile without stopping!
Goal: 180 - 20 lbs lost! no longer obese!
Goal: Run 1 mile without stopping!
Goal: 170 - 30 lbs lost!
Goal: Run 2 miles without stopping!
Goal: 160 - 40 lbs lost!
Goal: Run 3 miles without stopping!
Goal: 155 - no longer overweight!
Goal: 150 - 50 lbs lost!
Goal: Run 5 miles without stopping!

1 month goals:
-10 lbs lighter

3 month goals:
-25 lbs lighter
-run 1 mile without stopping

6 month goals:
-50 lbs lighter
-run 3 miles without stopping

My Program:
-Eat what my body wants when I'm hungry
-Eat mostly organic, focus on fruits, vegetables, and lean meat
-Post what I eat on my blog every day
-Exercise at least 20 minutes 6 days per week
-Weigh every day (I can't help myself)
-Walk, jog, ride my bike, and do Jillian Michael's videos.

    Hi, Glad to be your friend. I too have recently made a lifestyle change. I have stopped smoking (thought I would never do it) and I'm having loads of fun doing exercise. Instead of going out having some drinks with friends, I now meet my friends and go swmming, walking and doing yoga. Much more productive for me and for them too.
