If your body is a temple, you would be best served to treat it as one. I am learning to do this finally after all this time!

I have spent years cardio-ing my self into the ground and trying every crazy diet. It never got me where I wanted to be so now I am going the everything in moderation route by following the examples of real live people who have had success (SparkPeople!) instead of nameless diet book testimonials. This route may seem slow but compared to quick results that ultimately fail for YEARS AND YEARS at a time, this is life in the fast lane!

Turbulence Training through the new year. I am waiting to see what the new years challenge is on leighpeele.com and I will either switch gears to participate in that or continue with Turbulence training if I am getting the results that I want.

WOE is calorie cycling with one moderate day and one high day. This has worked for me in the past as psychologically I can't handle too many days in deficit. That's what happens when you do too many dang diets! It gives you famine brain!

Originally from Santa Barbara CA. In Ventura now for school.

Have been an active aerobics instructor twice, now I am a retired aerobics instructor :) I will do it again as dance and grapevines are passions of mine, but maybe not to the extent that I was taking it before.

    It was our girly above AKMAMA08! I kind of watched her towards the end and talked to her and had looked into the book. I was very intimidated by creating my own workouts so that kept me from tyring it for a few months. I finished p90x in the beginning of Sept which gave me my profile pic body (workin on that one since I gained back about 7 lbs after finishing p90x), but figured why not try something else. I am pretty sold on p90x, but wanted to give this is try. I am honestly having or was having a hard time with the results. I felt like the first 4 weeks I was bulking and I did not lose any weight the first 3 weeks. Most people lose about 5 lbs and ofcourse I gained a half. Blah! So i was sticking to the program to a T, but hopoing it was I was about 6 days after starting my period. Who knows. I will re-weigh myself in another 2 weeks. I am seeing some slow progress right now, but it takes alot fo rmy body to show results. It took a good 6 weeks to see change with p90x.
