I lost 61 lbs with Sparkpeople from 2008-2009, hit a plateau that lasted over a year, became obsessed with-and then broke up with- my scale, moved away from my exercise partners, became a grandma. I maintained for 1-1/2 years before gaining any back and began to feel invincible to old habits which I sadly let reclaim me one by one. Now Spring of 2015, I'm a grandma to two sweeties, and my goal is to at least get back to my lowest weight in 2009 and put my health first, without becoming obsessed with the scale. If after I've lost 61 lbs again I feel like I WANT to continue to loose another 20 fine. If not - fine - I'll be happy with my weight!
