Introduction Text I am almost 42 years old and I've been overweight since I was 25. I am looking forward to being able to play with my kids and walk a flight of stairs without getting winded. I am married and I have 4 kids, age 14, 12, 7 and 4. I want to end my families cycle of "dieting" and being overweight. I want us all to be healthy. I love having a community with such great support and wonderful tools. This IS the year for a new me!

Triathalon Disney World May 2009 I would like to loose 80 pounds within a year. Then possibly another 10 pounds. I want to be healthy. I want to be able to play with my kids without running out of air.

So far, my program is to drink hot water and lemon in the morning. I take a multi vitamin, a evening primrose oil supplement and a fish/borage/flax supplement. Breakfast has been my ultra shake. 1 cup of frozen berries, 1/2 cup of unsweeten soy milk, 1/2 cup water, 2 tbs rice protein powder, 1 tbs flax seeds, 1 pack of Steviaplus, 1 banana and ice. Morning snack, nut mixture Lunch 1/2 cup rice with vegetables Afternoon snack, more nuts or an apple Supper lean protein (usually chicken), 1/2 cup rice and vegetables. 30 minutes of exercise per day (elliptical, bike or Biggest Loser DVD), although now that the weather is better I think I will add 30 more minutes of brisk walking. I am also adding arm exercises.



I like to be with my family. Some of the things we like to do are camping, reading, crafting and community theatre. I am on the board of our local community theatre and I am in many of our productions.
