    You asked how I did so well this week? The answer is that I wasn't following any meal plan during December and ended up gaining some weight... and from prior experience, when I DO gain weight and decided I need to refocus, that bit of weight comes off easily. So a combination of losing freshly gained weight, eating the correct meals and portions and finally adding exercise into my routine helped me this week.

    As for you, don't be down on yourself about losing "only" 2 pounds! Always focus on the fact that it is a loss and the healthy weekly loss should be around 1 to 2 pounds! Any loss is a loss and something you should be proud of! I have been changing my lifestyle/eating habits for several years now and based on all my weekly weigh-ins, I would be very happy to have a two pound loss in a week (were it a typical week for me)!
