time for me


I was thin and into excerise until had my son at 29. Well 26 years later, I'm still trying to take off the "baby fat" (ha). I raised my daughter in my 20's, my son in my 30's and my husband in my 40's. I think my 50's are time for me. Spent too many years sitting at a desk (work really takes a toll on the hips and butt).
Retired to paint and write childrens books ( my life long loves which spent too much time on the back-burner) .
Truly love nature, art and mythology from all ...

Fitness Minutes: 14,421

My Goals:
looking to get fit and thinner. My family lives well into their 90's, so I would really love to enjoy every minute of my long life.

My Program:
 joined the y, great price and programs. Go at least 6 days a week. Tracking every bite of food. Water is not a problem, drink a ton of it, gave up soda about 4 years ago.


Personal Information:
I'm a native New Yorker, currently living in Connecticut. Spent a few years in Virginia and the South Pacific. Love to travel.

Other Information:
 I paint and write childrens books. I guess I'm a child at heart, everything I see just fills me with wonder. Also I'm a golf junkie, play whenever I get the chance.

    YAY! So glad to hear back from you! You HAVE made progress, girl...quitting smoking is HUGE and I am SO proud of you!! Esp. if hubby still does, that is even harder. Good going!

    OK -- 9 months til October and the reunion...if we break it down into small goals...weekly, monthly, whatever, we can make it work. And then YOU can "work it" when you attend! Love that you shared about being so hot in HS...don't forget we are WOMEN now, not young girls, so our bodies have changed with babies, age and stress. We earned it!! But we can certainly hone it into a good looking package....I am really talking to myself here, but you know what I mean.

    Well, old buddy of mine....are you still around SP?? I am back after vacation and being sick for weeks...the only good thing is I didn't gain on vaca like usual. You and I are still about the same weight. This year is MY year.. I know I can do it. I know we have tools and the knowledge and the know-how. Let's do it!

    I am new to the “art for an audience of one…His name is JESUS” team. I am a christian mother of 1 daughter who is a super talented artist. I have been trying to motivate her for a while, so I built a website sponsoring a christian art contest. I am hoping this will motivate her to get serious about her work when she sees other Christians that are serious about art. I just started the site and can really use some support getting it going.
