Hi!! I'm Keri, 28 years old (YIKES I'm getting old!!) and I married my high school sweetheart on May 31, 2008! My reason behind joining SP in the first place was to lose a substantial amount of weight before our wedding. This was back in 2007 and I weighed 240 lbs. I had already lost about 20 pounds on my own just trying to tweek my diet here and there. I managed to accomplish that goal of a much smaller wedding dress size (174 lbs on the big day!). I then continued on with my weightloss journey and was down to about 159 lbs by summer '09. Unfortunately over the past year I've managed to gain a good chunk back due to stress, deaths in the family, and just plan old giving up on myself. I'm sooo ready to have this extra weight gone for good now! My hubby and I have a couple of vacations planned for the next 6 months, Arizona in February and Jamaica in May, so I'm going to work really hard to hit some weight loss goals (and have some nice rewards for them!) before then! 5/22/13 UPDATE: 20 weeks in and I'm down almost 40 pounds! I am so thankful that I finally made the choice to recommit myself to a healthy lifestyle. I still have more to lose, but I feel healthy and happy for the first time in quite awhile. It is amazing how things in your life can create a domino effect. By taking control of my life and getting healthy again, I have become a much more positive-upbeat person and great things are happening in my life! LOVING LIFE and all that it has to offer! I am currently training for my first half marathon which I will run in June 2013. My goal at this point is to come in at under 2 1/2 hours. After that race, I think I'm going to try and run a few more half marathons in the fall. There are several in the area that we will be moving to that interest me.

Run, run, run!!! I also hired a personal trainer back in January '13 to really help whip my rear into shape! She has totally changed me life and was more than worth the investment!

I am from northern Minnesota and I hate cold weather, yet I love lots of snow, explain that one!! I got married to the man of my dreams on May 31st, 2008.
