    lol - I love it! I tend to go after "impossible" dreams myself. It's amazing what you can do when you just go for it! I registered for my half marathon the day I started my training so that I couldn't back out :)

    Did you have a training program you followed for those 6 weeks?

    Thanks for the info ... that is so cool! I swim for fun but am planning on getting someone to teach me proper breathing, etc, before the sprint. And I've ridden a bike before but, again, for fun not racing. And I don't even have a bike right now :( I'm doing the marathon training right now (even though I'm doing a half marathon) and am enjoying it so far. I alternate brisk walking and jogging and while I don't love the jogging, I love that I CAN jog! Even at this weight (and lower) on my way UP the scale, I couldn't jog.

    What inspired you to get started with tris?
