2018 Update - I reached my goal weight November 25, 2012. Most of 2017 I hovered just above goal weight but I didn't stress. I continued to maintain my healthy habits.

I completed the Spark 2017 4-Week Holiday Challenge and it helped me enjoy the holidays AND get back to goal weight at the end of the year!

I do not define myself by the scale. It's not about being skinny for me. It's about strength and endurance now.

I believe in baby steps to achieve goals and maintain lifelong healthy habits.

I look forward to continue learning from Spark friends and staying active in 2018!

April 9 - Shake it Off 5K for Parkinson's research
April 22 - Naperville Half Marathon (not ready for this so there will be a lot of walking)
May 6 - Race to Wrigley 5K
May 12 - Quarryman Challenge 10 miler (very hilly)
May 26 - Soldier Field 10 miler
June 9 - Sweetness 5K run
June 23 - Chicago Proud to run 10K
September 9 - Brookfield Zoo 5K
November 4 - Chicago Hot Chocolate 15K

    Thank you for the birthday wishes and the bloglove. Ha! I'd forgotten the huge crush I had on Paul that year they came to America. I was 11. Oh man - I had a "Beatles Slumber Party" - somewhere there are home movies of it. I guess I have an archaeological dig to set up!
