I started off January weighing 197, the most I've ever weighed in my life! I began my fitness program on January 17th by working out w/ a Personal Trainer on M, W, F & and a Pilates Trainer on Tu & Th. This while watching my calories helped me drop down to 175 by May 25, 2011 (the day I joined After joining Spark, I had the same workout schedule as above but worked in additional cardio throughout the week and paid better attention to the calories I was consuming each day. I dropped down to 161 by July 27th. I still need to lose 35 lbs to reach my goal weight. Lots of hard work ahead of me. I look forward to meeting others & providing support & encouragement in our journey to health & success! :)

My Goals:
January 17, 2011 - 197 lbs
May 24, 2011 - 175 lbs
1st Goal -161 lbs (July 27th)
2nd Goal - 145 lbs (October 12th)
3rd Goal - 130 lbs (December 21st)
4th Goal - 120 lbs. (February 15th)
*even though I don't feel like the lbs are coming off as quickly as I would like. I try not to get discouraged and do something positive going towards my goal every single day!

My Program:
1. Personal Training (Strength training & cardio) Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.

2. Pilates Training on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

3. Keep Calories between 1200-1300 a day.

4. Since May 1, 2011, I have been getting in an additional 30 minutes of cardio 5x a week and that seems to be helping a lot.

5. Drink at least 2 liters of water per day

(any suggestions or recommendations are most welcome!)

    Hey Kelli! Thanks for checking in on me! I have doing pretty much the same thing. I have not been at home so I don't have internet but at work :) I am not sure if I have been losing but I can tell I have been toning up so I am just as happy with that right now. Have a wonderful weekend!!

    Hi Kelli!!

    That is a lot of graduations to go too!! I love apples but I do like variety and when traveling there is nothing better than chips haha so I bake some kale (at 350 about 10mins) with a little olive oil and sea salt until slightly crispy makes a perfect snack!! You should give it a try (if you like kale, I think you can do it with shard also). I also make some trail mix with my favs raw almonds, walnuts, cranberries, raisins, and corn nuts (that one is a new one for me... I shop at Sprouts it is like a farmers market and they have bins of everything it is so wonderful) I do 1/3 cup of each and 2/3 cup of corn nuts and 1/2 cup is about 249 calories or so and makes a perfect snack when I need even more variety.
    To get to peoples feed to comment go to your start page and on the right you will see about 6 (I think) feeds and on the bottom it says something like to "see all feeds", click on that and you can see everything and comment or like from there!!
    This weekend is going to be pretty easy I have my kids last swim lesson and then I want to teach my daughter how to ride her bike with no training wheels. Then Sunday we have church and lunch, movies, dessert with a friend so a very mellow and easy weekend for us!!
