Hello, welcome to my page. I have been sparking since 2008.My highest weigh was 245. I am a 63 yr old women married over 40 yr. I know what needs to be done with nutrition but have a very hard time accomplishing it each day. I love Jesus my Savior, He is in every part of my life and is my eternal life.
I am here to work on nutrition and help others to be accountable. I do feel I am not qualified to be of help because I can't even help myself but I am open for anyone who needs to report to someone. My problem is weakness in this area. I am not sure what Jesus has for me to get the grip I need and continue a faithful direction. I know temptations are all around us and I believe if He wills for me to change this area of my life it will come.

Fitness Minutes: 63,861

My Goals:
Winter Nutrition ITC's are about developing healthy habits. We will work on a different one each week.

NUTRITION - HEALTHY HABIT: Eat a Rainbow of Freggies.
From everything we read it is apparent that we need to eat 3 to 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
1. Eat fruit or veggies (freggies) from 3 colors of the Rainbow 5 days this week. (M&M's and Skittles don't count!)
2. Post in your team chat room how you combined your fruit or veggies for one day.

1 point for each day you eat a rainbow. (Max 5)
5 points for posting in the chat room. (Max 5)
Bonus: 10 points for eating a rainbow all 5 days. (Max 10)
Possible points = 20

The elves are working hard this holiday season and asked for a little help filling the sleigh and here is how we are pitching in.


My Program:
God's Word is first, my soul saver, my teacher and guide!
1 I will not beat myself up !
2 Consume at least 8 cups of water per day.
3 exercise 3 x a wk work into 5x

I am determined to win this battle, no matter how many times I have to start over. I will be content with progress made and continue to strive for a better me each day.

Aug 2019 crazy scale I weigh yesterday it said 206 BUT today it says 213. My hubby said no way! You did not eat that much yesterday. Not sure when I will tap that scale again. Depends on how much I think progress is being made.

    Saturday: Just got home about 2 hrs. ago. Need to wait for a call w/a thyroid appointment. HOPING we don’t have a long wait, but just don’t know. It’s worth the wait.

    We had good weather for traveling.

    Surgery was cancelled. Discovered Jason is hyperthyroid, and has thyroid nodules. Soooooo, have to have that evaluated. Waiting an appointment w/the thyroid Dr. Will have to come back for that.

    So we are on the way home tomorrow and await the call w/the appointment for the thyroid. Hopeing we don't have to wait tool long.

    Looks like tomorrow is a good travel day.

    Wednesday: Labs and tests thus far all normal. Just await the covid result. Update: Covid test negative!

    We see the neurologist and the neurosurgeon today. We will find out the surgical time tomorrow night after 8:15 pm. WE have to call in @ that time and then we’re told the time.

    Soooooo . . . we wait!

    Ok – update. Interesting discussion w/the neurologist. Scared. Jas has started to have weakness in his legs. NOT constant, just when he gets up. Discovered he has nocules on both sides of the thyroid. Could that be causing the neuropathy? Possibly. Could that be causing the leg weakness? Possibly. So, NOW he had a whole panel of thyroid labs drawn and will have another EMG and probably ultrasound of the thyroid. We meet w/the neurosurgeon later this afternoon for the game plan. My brain is about to cave in.

    Updated update: Ok. The brain cavity is now completely empty. After discussions w/the neurologist and neurosurgeon, they feel that another EMG of the legs is in order (that’s on tap for Friday). And the results of the labs drawn so far show he is hyperthyroid! OMG in heaven. That really could be @ the cause of all of this! Also looking for an inflammatory process, and any autoimmune problems. Whole ‘nuther bucket of worms, BUT . . . we are glad no surgery. NOW to be in hot pursuit of the root cause. So testing being done towards that end.

    Will let you know what we find out when I am able. PRAYERS, please.
