    I saw your post too, and I wanted to tell you that you really CAN do it this time! You made a good decision by coming to Spark people, you will find real SUPPORT here plus a lot of super useful tools to help you reach your goals.     I saw your post on a message board ... Im with ya! I find that as long as you LOG everything you eat- you can eat what you want. Pizza, McDonalds, etc. You just need to log it. I lost over 8 lbs my first week doing this. Its not a magic bullet, but it will make you VERY AWARE! And with awareness comes modification to your diet. For example, if I want to go to McDonalds I figure out how many calories, fat, carbs (or whatever Im focusing on) is involved in the meal I want to eat ... (Im a carb track more than anything .. and I stick to 150 carbs a day) Anyway I tweak from there. For example, fries are not really my thing - so a medium goes a small (or skipped all together) and I usually go for chicken nuggets (less carbs than sandwhiches adn I like them) ... I then usually choose water, unsweetened ice tea, or a treat of a diet coke. Anyway ... All that works out to be about 45 carbs (which I allow 45-60 for lunch) ... If you wanted the quater pounder (40 carbs) AND the large sweet tea (69 carbs), then you could do some swapping! Stick with the quater pounder, but go for a childs sweet tea. The childs sweet tea is only 27 carbs! Youd still be at 67 carbs total but you just saved 42 carbs! I hope that makes sense!! I dont believe in cuttign ANYTHING out ... just making some healthy swaps .... Hope that helps! Above all - make the tracker a do or die!!

    I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!
