People call weight loss a lifestyle change. It really is. You're not just making a diet change or incorporating more physical activity. Sometimes you have to change your entire outlook on life.

I've spent a fair portion of my life ridiculing myself. I beat myself up if someone didn't like me, criticized myself if I wasn't an immediate success at everything, and gave myself guilt trips when I did things that weren't necessarily good for me. It was like I took the phrase "I am my own worst enemy" and ran a marathon with it. I gained the weight I did because I wasn't a healthy person.

Now that I feel I have a better handle on what weight loss actually means, I'm ready. I'm ready to tackle the vulnerabilities and the fear of failure. I'm ready to accept the support that people are willing to give me so long as I ask for it. I'm done treating myself like I'm not worth the effort when I know that I am. I deserve to be the best me that I can give myself, and that work starts today.

Goal weight range: 120-140


My Program:
I like walking/hiking, absolutely love yoga in every way, shape, and form, and I'm learning to like strength training too. I also enjoy most water sports when the opportunity presents itself.
I'll pretty much try anything physical at least twice. Once to get over the novelty and the second time to determine if I actually like it.



Personal Information:
-I'm an open book. I don't hold back at all and have no problem expressing myself.
-My hair is naturally curly.
-I have a tattoo on the back of my left shoulder.
-I have a Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University.
-I love reading.

Scorpio health issues involved problems with fertility & the reproductive organs. They can also have problems with the throat including the thyroid.

    I did well today. I stayed within my calorie range for a change. I made wise choices on the food I ate today. I didn't get in all the fruit and vegetables I would have liked to today though. But other than that, I did good today for a change.

    I could be doing better if I wouldn't be gaining weight. I put on 3 pounds this week after gaining 5 pounds last week. I'm going in the wrong direction. I know part of my problem has been my portion size. I've been eating a little more than I should be so I need to reduce my portion size. I also have to watch my calories better. I've been going over my calories range too many times. If I do that I'm hoping that will correct the gaining problem.
