Woo Hoo hit my second goal weight this morning of 220 and I can't believe it with all the stress I have had this week in my life.

I lost my best friend, coworker and all around great guy on Friday, I was heart broken, then my Aunt called me to let me know that my Uncle only has a few days to live. emoticon I thought I was going to go into comfort food mode, but instead I went the opposite of what I always do and had no appetite. I thought well with all the stress I can cheat, but I heard my good friend Joey say no kk you have come this far, don't go back now.

So that is exactly what I'm going to do, so here I come 210, my third weight goal challenge.

This tip is from Cleveland Clinic Chief Wellness Officer Mike Roizen, MD, from his new book, "This Is Your Do-Over". Here's a sneak peek at his essential do-over deeds.

We all have disagreements sometimes. Life isn't about holding hands and singing happy tunes to hide our troubles. However, you need to decide if you want to be a "but" or an "and" kind of person. The "but" people don't want solutions. They want to settle. They want to wallow in their misery.

The "and" people find solutions to problems. They inspire others to do their best. They contribute to the growth of people and ideas - and, ultimately, to the health of us all. Even if you are an avowed lifelong naysayer, you still have the opportunity to discover your inner enthusiast. Once you find your purpose and passion, your optimism will increase and your do-over becomes stronger and stronger. In the end, optimism is really just about cultivating happiness in your everyday moments.

******THE ROAD OF LIFE HAS MANY TURNS******
Sometimes the road of life takes us to a place we had planned....

Sometimes it shows us a surprise around the bend we could never have anticipated. We make decisions based on the information we have...We accept our ups and downs as they come...We live "one day at a time."

But often we find it is only when we look back that we can see that what we had thought was a "wrong turn" has brought us to exactly the right place and every step was a right one after all!!

Thank you for letting me share this with you!! (Actually Barb-BARBIE52, shared it with me and I just wanted to share it with you.) Trust that you are exactly where you are supposed to be today...

The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself. - Anna Quindlen.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. “I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.” You must do the thing you think you cannot do. - Eleanor Roosevelt

Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen... yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.
