I have struggled with my weight all my life. I am a yo yo dieter and a yo yo exerciser. I love to exercise but I lack the constant motivation. I am a wife and mother that always puts others first. I work full time and sometimes long hours, but I am finally getting to a point in my life where I have me time. My youngest child went to college this year, so my husband and myself have more time to walk. This coming new year, I would like for it to be the year I finally lose some of this weight, but I need support! I did make 2 goals this year for my heatlh. I gave up the large consumption of caffeine and I can't believe it but I gave up soda for 3 weeks now. I have drank soda and no water all of my life, so this is a milestone. I enjoy water now! It is amazing when you give something up, you will adjust and crave the good things!

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 40 pounds! I believe in a healthy weight loss program and exercise and most important I know support works. I need to make this the year I lose weight. I am starting a new job April 1st and I want to be healthier for this reason and many other reasons!

My Program:
I am following a healthy food plan from all the food groups and watching my calories. I also believe in getting at least 30 minutes of cardio a day and a strength training program 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I am from North Carolina. I lived in a Louisana and Arkansas as a child but most of my life I have lived in North Carolina. I am married, have children, a grandson, and I love animals (I have 2 cats and 3 dogs).

Other Information:
I just started reading more, since my children have gotten older and I have more time. I enjoy reading anything that is about nutrition and exercise. I enjoy a good movie, no favorite exactly just enjoy watching movies with friends and family. I am very active in my church and enjoy spending time with my family.
