Lessons I have learned:

-Life is tough but you have to keep plugging away.
-Never stop trying because when you stop trying is when you fail.
-Log your food!
-Exercise is important to a healthy lifestyle.


I was at my lowest weight of 124 pounds in 2007 since beginning my journey of managing my weight. We started trying to get pregnant and I began stress eating (I had many years of infertility which is the reason for the big gap between my kids). I shot up to 145 by the time I got pregnant in 2009.

I was at my all time highest weight in March of 2010 after having my baby girl (177 after water loss) but I didn't mind because I knew the baby was healthy. I lost 38 pounds from working out and watching what I ate then got a new job in September 2010. Since then, more than a few pounds have crept back on.

Fitness Minutes: 67,470

My Goals:
1) 155 (previous all-time high) by 09/30/10 - goal met!

2) 140 (pre-preg weight) by 3/01/11 - goal met 04/15/11

3) 130 (Final Goal) by 05/02/12 - TBD!

Then I need to tone these muscles!!

My Program:
Calorie management and work in exercise when possible.

I'm from Central Florida and my name is Kathy.

My husband and I both love nature and are involved in our local Audubon Chapter.

My two girls are the biggest blessings of life.

-In memory of Steve Irwin. We miss you.

Other Information:
I am a full-time employee, college student, wife and mother of two beautiful girls:
a 19-year-old college student and a 2-year-old toddler.
Life is exhausting!

    Hi, Kathy. Good to hear from you. Sorry I haven't responded to your message earlier -- we have had severe flooding in my hometown. We were actually evacuated from our home, but luckily there was no damage to our house. We just got power restored today & have moved back in. Ahh, there's no place like home.

    I have been up and down for awhile. I lost about 8 pounds at the beginning of the year, but I have been stressed out for the past couple of months and have put some of that weight back on. So frustrating.

    I am trying for a more balanced life, but I find that too much work always gets heaped on me and then I eat in response. I work on contract and my last two clients have promised me part-time work, but that has not happened. Grrr.

    Anyway, how are you doing? I probably share a lot of the same struggles as you and so am here for support if you need me. Anytime.
