I have been living and eating healthy for what feels like FOREVER, with very little success. I am trying to be more active, but I feel like its an unfair uphill climb.

I work out 3-4 times a week for at least 30 minutes, I eat tons of fresh veggies, and log every calorie.

**Update as of 7-5-11
Ok, so eating 1200-1300 calories a day and working out three times a week resulted in 1 inch and 1 pound of loss. Clearly, that's not working.

So, I stopped eating healthy for about 2 weeks to get my metabolism back to unhealthy levels... And, today I am starting down the GNC Lean Shake Diet and Exercise Plan! I am really excited and motivated. We'll see what happens! I am shooting to lose 7 pounds.

**Update as of 8-21-11
GNC Lean Shakes are awesome!!! I lost 7 lbs, and then continued to lose. Lost ten by sticking with my workouts, and lower calorie eating.

But, there is Dragon*Con coming up, and I really want to feel beautiful in the pictures this year! So, my aunt got me the 17-day diet, and I am doing that as a gear-up for con. I hate it, and am constantly struggling not to cheat, but I'm committed.

I just need to lose 5 more pounds to really feel good about where I'm going, and I'm almost positive that will happen!

**Update as of 9-6-11
The 17-Day-Diet is HARD. But I lost another 7 lbs! Plus the original 7 and 2 more from working out between, I've lost 16 lbs since late July!

I am maintaining right now, but I intend to lose another 10 by 10/31/11. Wish me luck!
