Down to earth gal, early thirties trying to change my lifestyle and eating habits of a lifetime. Compulsive and emotional over eating has been a part of my life and I have finally realized I can change and be healthy and fit.
One of my goals is to continue making these small changes and implementing everything I learn about healthy living into my life. Making permanent changes that improve my health and fitness is more important than weight loss. But I will also take that as a bonus! :D

My Goals:
To live a healthier lifestyle. Reach a weight where I am comfortable and fit.
Do more outdoor sports with my husband.

My Program:
I am doing a combination of Optifast and healthy eating to control portion control and leave unhealthy eating habits behind. I also work out daily by walking for a couple hours (10km).
I do not count calories or deny myself anything. But I do watch portion sizes and make healthier, low fat versions of typically rich meals. I have changed the way I cook and what goes into my body. I am moving more and having a more positive outlook on life. It is more than weight loss for me. I am changing my life.
