140/90. That was my blood pressure late March 2014. You know how you wait for the "click" to kick you into changing your habits? 140/90 was mine. I know that if I'm eating well, exercising and at a lower weight, then my pressure will be fine. So I let that be my click to choose again to nourish my body and to move it in ways that makes it say thank you.

I've Sparked enough since 2008 that I know what I need to lose weight in a happy way. Foodwise, that means eating lots of veggies and fruit, getting at least 30g fiber daily, drinking lots of water (especially because I exercise) and eating a pretty balanced mix of carbs, proteins, and fats per the Spark recommendations. Exercise includes distance running, Pilates and strength training. My blood pressure late April 2015 was 94/67.

Eat mainly fresh fruits, vegetables, proteins & unrefined foods. Drink 10+ cups a day.

    Thanks for your comment on my blog! Logging is second nature to me now, I just do it, even when I eat too much junk. I hope your cauliflower is better than mine, this was the first time I've made this recipe and it just doesn't do it for me. Not as tasty as the vacuum packed stuff from Trader Joe's even! emoticon

    How did you dislocate your hip????? And how did I miss that happening? Geez! You had to be miserable. Glad you are doing alright. You are an amazing running machine. I need to get to a podiatrist and figure out what is going on with my right foot so I can start running once the weather breaks. The snow is currently over my knees and we won't even talk about how cold it is! With 2/3 of our kids living in CA with their families now I keep trying to talk DH into moving there but he won't bite.
    Yes, I've been stressing a bit lately but it'll all be alright. Just some stupid extended family stuff mostly. Out of our control and I hate that as I always like to be in control of everything around me!
