My Goals:
My ultimate weight loss goal is to lose 150 lbs. and to be stronger and more toned than I was when I was last at that weight eight years ago.

Other Goals:

- To be comfortable enough in my own skin to do a professional boudoir photo shoot. Partly for DH but mainly for ME!

- To become the energetic, outgoing person that I know is hiding inside me somewhere.

- To fix my (now distorted) tattoos and get a few more!

-To be able to wear fabulous heels whenever I want without feeling like my knees and ankles are going to collapse.

- To not run and hide everytime I see a camera.

My Program:
Common sense changes that I can stick with for good.

My plan so far:

- Cardio 4-5x/week (elliptical, swimming or walking my dogs)

- Strength Training 2-3x/week

- Yoga or Pilates at least 2x/week for toning, flexibility and stress relief.

- Supplement with Jillian's 30-Day Shred if I miss a gym workout or need a challenge.

- Eliminate refined sugar (at least 90%), lower carb, lean protein & lots of fresh, whole foods. Working with a holistic nutritionist and learning about Clean Eating.

- Stop emotional binge-eating by building up a support system both here on Spark and IRL, and exploring my feelings in my blog.

- Develop better coping skills to deal with stress that don't involve food and to have a more positive outlook on life.

Personal Information:
Social Worker in Ontario, Canada. Bookworm, blogger, animal lover, and die-hard beauty junkie.

Mom to three dogs - a German Shepherd, a Border Collie/Lab, & an Aussie/Greyhound mix - plus one extremely demented cat.

Loves: books, coffee, shoes, giraffes, home decor, celeb gossip, alternative rock, cult & classic movies, politics, & pugs!

Other Information:
"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."
- Marilyn Monroe

Hey friend, I've been away for a while but I'm back now. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to start over. How have you been?

Oooh, I don't mean to terrify you! I actually had surgery to have mine removed because it had started to rupture. They were able to save my right tube and clean it out. That is why that one wasn't blocked... Meaning both tubes were probably blocked in the first place. Please don't be terrified. That was not my intention in the least...

I hate to say it, but you probably are going to feel like that for a while. I think it took me a good two months to start to feel somewhat normal again. And then I had my HSG only to find out that my left tube is blocked... and that's not the one that had the ectopic...

I'm doing well, how about you? I've had a hard time staying on track, but I haven't quit so that's quite an improvement over every other time I've tried to lose weight and get healthy.

    I hope you're having a great week!
