Well it is now March of 2021 and I am once again starting again. As with the entire universe the last year and a half has been a journey none of us could have predicted. But I can't blame my decline of taking care of my health on that.

We have had an incredibly difficult few years with many losses in out lives. Including our oldest son and my momma in 2019. But God has been good and has always carried us through and will continue to.

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired and losing ground. I desperately need to get this access weight off and do it the right way. A quick fix is just that. They don't last.

So, my fellow Sparkies...let's get this done!!!

Fitness Minutes: 71,138

My Goals:
1. To be able to see my feet again when I am standing up.

2. To wear zip up jeans, shirt tucked in, and a belt again.

3.Get out and stay out of the Plus Size Dept. THIS IS A GOAL I HAVE MET!!!

4. To cross my legs comfortably. THIS IA A GOAL I HAVE MET!!!

5. To wear my wedding dress again.

6. To lower my blood pressure and get off meds.

7. To get healthy and stay that way.

I weigh more now that I have ever in my life and way more than I ever thought I would. I do want to get back to a "healthy" weight and stay there. My oal "used" to be to get rid of all this excess baggage. I guess it still is, but that is secondary.

I want to lose the weight...badly. But my main goal is to GLORIFY my Lord Jesus Christ. If my body is broken and not healthy because of what I have done to it...then I need to change that. GOD cares about more than my physical body. He cares about my emotional and spirutual body.

My Program:
1. Low Carb. A little Atkins, South Beach, Stella Style. Keto. Just common sense.

2. To drink at least 12 glasses of water a day.

3. To walk at least 3-4 times a week and to wear my pedometer faithfully.

4. Strive for at least 10,000 steps a day + my power walks 3-4 times a week.

5. Use my Exercise Ball, weights, stretch bands, and ropes at least 3-4 times a week.

6. Go to gym several times a week.

7. Remember to take my prescribed medications every day.

8. Track ALL food/liquids every day.

My mind-set has to be different and I have to eat to live, not live to eat.

NOW...that IS a new way of thinking for me. I am asking for prayer to keep me on the right track. I am committed to keeping on track, and to stop the bad habits that got me to this point. Things I know are contributing to making and keeping me fat and that are just not good for me. It is a work in progress. I am finally seeing progress.

Personal Information:
I started a few Sparks Groups.

1). Fibromyalgia Busters. I encourage you to check us out. I would love to have others who have F.M. give us an input and support as well as to encourage others who batle this disease. I have F.M., but it DOES NOT have me!!!

2). Genealogy Sparks for those who love to do their family Genealogy.

3). Bible Study Fellowship Ladies. This is for women who are enrolled in BSF this year.

Other Information:
I love the Holy Bible, I am involved in Bible Study Fellowship, Precept Bible Study, my church's ladies Bible Study and Grief Share.
I retired in November of 2019 from the library after almost 34 years.

I love to listen to Southern GospelMusic, 50-60's music. I love to crochet, do many other crafts and love being with my family and love to take pictures. My favorite CHRISTian authors are:
Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer, Stormie Omartian, Carol Kent, Karen Kingsbury, and Joel Osteen. I also love The Left Behind Series and the Divergent series. I love Patricai Cornwell, Sue Grafton, Danielle Steel, and La Verle Spencer.

    I'm in Australia and I wanted to say Welcome to all and any of the pages we are sharing.
    When I saw 'Jude' I thought I need to check this out.
    I attend St Jude's - Tumbarumba you see, and when I was born I was baptised in St Jude's -Sydney where my Mum and Dad had married. naturally I had to follow your name to find out about you. Wow, it is almost like reading about me.
    When you are doing your genealogy, by some wild stretch of the imagination, maybe you'll come across me L OL.

    I see from your page here that you are also a Christian - love meeting more believers. I am the team leader at Putting Christ in First Place - come along and join the group and get lots of good Christian encouragement there.

    Suggestion: Come here to your page and 'blogg' putting down what you are doing with respect to your weight loss program. Others can then come and encourage here there as well.
