I'm a singer doing everything I can so that I can pursue my dream of singing for the rest of my life. Music is the center of my world, but I also spend a lot of time learning languages, reading like a maniac, watching movies and anime obsessively, drawing, writing everything I can think of, buying new clothes, and spending time with my wonderful, wonderful friends. I speak Spanish and Japanese fluently, read Farsi and speak it at an intermediate level, and have been teaching myself Cantonese, Gaelic, and Russian for two years now. I'm part Guatemalan, part Iranian, and part Blackfoot, and usually just check "Other" on applications in regards to race and religion. I travel, I rant, I live my life as best I can however it unfolds. As far as weight loss goes, I have an extremely difficult time losing weight despite my age and activity level because I suffer from hypothyroid, hypoglycemia, and polycystic ovarian syndrome, all of which lead to increased weight gain and retention, slow metabolism, frequent hunger pangs, and lack of energy. I'm still fighting the good fight, though, and even if I lose more slowly than most people, I'm trying not to lose hope!

My Goals:
Overall goal: Get within a healthy BMI (about 132lbs or less) before graduation

February's Goals:

1. Only eat out 1 MEAL a week (except on vacation, but even then only when I have to)

2. Exercise 6 days a week, no matter how long

3. Drink 8 glasses of water a day

My Program:
Daily calories: Between 1200 and 1550

Excercise Schedule:

Monday-30 minutes cardio (either DVD or walking in the park)

Tuesday-30 minutes cardio (park exercise) , 30 minutes strength training

Wednesday-120 minutes cardio (Tap and ballroom classes)

Thursday-30 minutes cardio (either DVD or park walk), 30 minutes strength training

Friday-30 minutes cardio (park exercise)

Saturday-30 minutes strength training

Sunday-DAY OFF

    a thought for today would be : Our Greatest weakness Lies in giving up, The most certain way to succeed is always to try one more time!

    Keep strong, if you struggle today focus on all the good that has came out of this journey. we all fight different battles but have the same goal!

    Hello I just wanted to comment about your "unusual fitness goals" message board topic.

    You sound exactly like me! I do Tang Soo Do and then I went to college and there are no studios in my area and I fell out of it. I never get much out of just practicing and attending classes in the summer but I really enjoy it. My sister just passed me by and became a black belt so I get to hear about all my old friends and it makes me miss it.

    I decided now at school that I would have my own private karate classes to work on and get back to where I was four years ago before college happened. I thought I would post here on your page so that you would know that though your goal is unusual it is shared by me!
