Welcome to spark power we are glad to have you. We all here are on a new journey in our lives that will change those bad habits that we have had for many of years into new GOOD habits. I look forward to seeing more of you on the boards. I urge you to introduce your self on the team thread so everyone can get to know you. Good luck in your new journey with spark power.

    hi, Juliet

Welcome to the Spark Power! I am the team leader and we are so excited that you decided to join us. We are here to keep everyone motivated. The best motivation on spark is posting, asking questions, finding new friends that is in this together. We are all on this journey of a healthy live style, so your not alone in this. People need someone to believe in them. They need to know that if they take that first step out of their comfort zone, someone will be supporting them all the way. With small words of encouragement, with just a little extra time, that someone could be you. In some cases, others may just be unaware of their true abilities and potential. This is what our team is about. So welcome aboard the team!

If you haven’t already come and introduced yourself to the team please do. This is a great way to get to know the other team member and we also get to know you as well.
If there is any questions or concerns please let me know or one of the co-leaders.

Everyone one tease’s me about my dance I do if someone does well so if you see it you know that I have gotten excited! So I am sure excited you’re a part of the team.

    Hi Juliet,

Welcome to Spark People! You will find great resources here to help you on your healthy lifestyle. I encourage you to search for some teams that are of interest to you and get involved, start posting and joining in on the conversations, ask questions and have fun. Take small steps toward your goals. Take time to learn the site and take one step at a time. Don’t jump in with everything you have. You have to teach yourself a way to be healthy, so one step at a time. Once you learned one thing then go on to the next. Before you know it you will reach your goal.

When I first started Spark People I decided not to put so much pressure on myself. Gave myself time to get used to things. I think most people think the same way as I had in the past and I would jump into a diet routine full force instead of taking it slow. Then I would fissile out as to me was too much work at one time. So this is what you have to keep in mind. That you’re teaching yourself new ways and you’re not going to get this overnight. The first week here at spark I just tracked my food just to see what I was doing to myself, was a good eye-opener. Then the second week I got used to drinking water and trying to stay within the calorie range. I didn't normally drink water. Usually it was Pepsi of choice. But I drank 3 cups the first day then moved it up two days later. This is how you have to think about it as a step process. Sure we are not perfect and yes we will have a not so good day. But keep making those steps forward and before you know it you will be at your goal weight. More healthier and feel better about yourself and that is our Ultimate goal here. But just know we are in this together and you’re not alone.
