My goal is to lose 17-20 lbs and reshape my body by the end of 2017. I'm 56 years old. 1/9/17: First day of tracking. 1/16/17: 3 lbs lost 1/23/17: No change 1/30/17: 4 lbs lost 2/2/17: 5 lbs lost 2/13/17: 5.5 lbs lost Shoulder injury 2/20/17: 5 lbs lost, nursing shoulder injury 2/27/17: 7 lbs lost 2/27/17: 8 lbs lost 3/6/17: 9.5 lbs lost 3/13/17: No change 3/20/17: 10 lbs lost 3/27/17: 11 lbs lost 4/2/17: 13 lbs lost 4/9/17: 12.5 lbs lost (ups & downs are part of the journey!) 4/17/17: 14 lbs lost 4/24/17: 14 lbs lost; changed my final goal to a 20 lb loss 5/1/17: 15.5 lbs lost 5/8/17: 16 lbs lost 5/15/17: 17.5 lbs lost - GOAL!! 5/22/17: 18 lbs lost, one pound below goal 5/29/17: 18.5 lbs lost, 1.5 below goal 6/5/17: 18.5 lbs lost, maintaining 6/12/17: 20 lbs lost (3 lbs below goal); I'm not trying to lose. 6/19/17: 22.5 lbs lost, (5.5 lbs below goal)- My anxiety level is very high right now and is affecting my appetite. I'm not trying to lose weight. 6/20/17: Diagnosed with breast cancer 6/26/17: 23 lbs lost; 6 lbs below goal 7/3/17: 21.5 lbs lost; 1.5 lb gain, 4.5 lbs below goal 7/10/17: 22 lbs lost; 5 lbs below goal

My Goals:

• 17-20 lb weight loss
• Work on strength training
• See a change in my body shape by the end of 2017

My Program:

• 1500-1700 calories a day, sometimes a little less.
• At least 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 days a week using Jessica Smith cardio, core and strength DVD's.
• Outdoor walking and gardening in good weather

    I've got short legs too (5'2") but my hubby is 6'. After 33 years I've just gotten used to walking very fast just to keep up with his stride. 😂

    Congratulations on reaching goal!
    I see you don't belong to any teams. I called myself was a "spark hermit" until I reached goal. In fact it took me 3 years to write my first blog.

    That said, I'm now 7 years into maintenance and I couldn't have done it without the resources, support and motivation of one team.

    I'd like to invite you to come check us out and maybe join. We are beating the dismal regain statistics that we read about all the time.
