I am working to finally conquer the one goal I have always put to the bottom of my to do list: lose weight and lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

No more waiting for that magic Monday (that never comes) to start a "diet". The days of setting unrealistic expectations and thinking that because I went "off" the "diet" in some way entitles me to a free pass to binge until the next magic Monday when I will start that "diet" again are over. I am done. I will no longer hear that I have such a pretty face. I am a beautiful person on the inside and outside. Period. It does not need to be qualified.

*Current Weight: 320.2 (3.4.10)
*Total Pounds Gone: -10.8 lbs.
*% of Body Weight Gone: 3.26%

*Starting BMI: 55.08
*Current BMI: 53.28

My Goals:

Short-Term:
To lose 1st 10% = 34 lbs. (Under 300 lbs.)

-At 240 lbs., my BMI drops from Morbid Obesity to Obese Class 2

-To lose 100 lbs.

-At 210 lbs., my BMI drops to Obese Class 1

-At 180 lbs., my BMI drops to Overweight

Long-Term: To be in a healthy BMI range and maintain healthy weight +/- 5 lbs.

At 150 lbs., my weight drops into the Normal Range





My Program:
I am writing down EVERYTHING I eat daily in a journal, am drinking LOTS of water, stopped drinking soda, and strive to workout 5x/week. I am also trying to eat more often, every 2-3 hours, and am trying to make healthier choices overall. I also try to calorie cycle to keep my metabolism moving.

    I can only imagine the daily routine of having 3 kids :) Life for us has been great. We have gotten settled into our new home and realize that we have space and funds for another little one. So hopefully if all goes well that will happen early next year.

    I understand the slacking and trying to get back. For me it was more the intake control that was slacking. The exercise part hasnt been a problem and since my wife started teaching areobics I cant exactly skip her class :P The biggest hurrdle is the mental issues knowing you were at a certain point and now you have to work back to that just to start moving forward again.
