The last time I made an introduction, I swore I wasn't going to yo-yo any more, but I did. I lost 28 pounds (196 down to 168). I bought a size 10 dress and wore it to our company Christmas party and had tons of compliments. My self-confidence was at an all-time high. I then proceeded to slowly, but surely, gain it back. When I got to 179.6 on my digital scale, I said STOP! This was the first time I stopped myself before I gained back more than I had lost. I suppose that in itself is a small victory, but I am so disappointed in myself for gaining back 11 pounds that were not easy to lose!

Now, I am in full-tilt Spark People mode. I am logging my food, weighing in once a week and riding my recumbent bike 55 minutes every morning before work. I have my 2nd knee replacement coming up in July and want to be in the best shape possible for it.

My Goals:
I would like to get to a place where I'm not constantly craving foods that are bad for me, i.e., foods that put on the weight. I'd like to be a size 8 again, instead of a 14. I want to smile when I look in a mirror and turn sideways. I want to be more active and I want to eat healthy as routine.

My Program:
I am using the minimum point range to lose 2 lbs per week. I am doing pretty well at staying within that boundary after 5 weeks into the program. I read articles EVERY day on the site about motivation and maintenance. I track everything and it helps a lot. I drink 8 glasses of water per day - sometimes more.

Personal Information:
I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but grew up in Corpus Christi, TX.

Other Information:
I am an avid reader, but also love the shows, "Downton Abbey," "Boardwalk Empire," "Game of Thrones" and "Call the Midwife."
