I'm having the same issue with slacking off. I'm finding myself saying "tomorrow" a lot. Ugggghhh.... this part of the whole thing really sucks, lol.

I am still logging all of the incredibly awful choices I'm making and I told myself today that I really need to care enough to get control of my choices again. It's so tough though. I've been taking care of my grandmother a lot lately. I find myself making excuses because I'm not taking the time to plan out my meals/snacks/exercise. I am making dinner tonight at Gram's so I plan to take my tennis shoes and at least walk a little bit after dinner.

Do you have any special plans for Easter weekend?

I hope you had a good weekend! I'm currently sort of just parked.... I'm not sliding backward but I'm not getting anywhere fast either, lol. I know myself and around this point (12 weeks in) I start to get bored and be less diligent about what I use calories on. I've decided to give myself permission to stay in park until Wednesday... that gives me a couple of days to stock up on more healthy groceries and wrap my mind around what's important.

So, here's to getting back in DRIVE and moving forward later in the week. I think I've learned it's important to give yourself permission to sit in park every now and again along the way. Sometimes you just get tired and need a mental break from all of the stressing over this process.

I'm excited that my family is finally starting to get over this flu/infection that we were dealing with the last couple of weeks. We have an annual RATTLESNAKE FESTIVAL here in Oklahoma coming up in the next couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to getting out in the sunshine and enjoying the fair. They even fry up the rattlesnake and serve it along with all the other standard fair food. I'm going to try to control myself but I have a hard time resisting a footlong corn dog, haha.

I hope your week is productive and full of blessings. Take care of yourself!

I'm jealous of all the stuff you are planting. I need someone to plant and care for the things and me just get to go out in the morning picking the stuff off the vine.

The closest I get to fresh, homegrown stuff is the local Farmer's Market, which I LOVE by the way. I'm totally not a green thumb BUT I love the idea of being one, haha. Both my grandmas were great at it...they also made beautiful quilts. I love gardens and I love homemade quilts...neither of which I can successfully make. I did get pretty good cooking and baking skills passed down to me though.

Anyhow, I'm just stopping by to say do my weekly check in. It's 70 degrees here today so it actually is making me feel as though I want to do something gardenish. I tell myself every Summer though that I'm never spending money on flowers and seeds again since I always kill all the things, haha.

When you start harvesting all of your homegrown goodies make sure and post photos so I can admire them from afar.

emoticon Hi - I see your spark page has a wintry picture of Portland State University. Does that mean you live in Portland? I'm just about 30 miles away. Welcome, neighbor. : )
