Time for change!
Hello there! I joined SparkPeople a while ago, got healthy, lost weight and felt GREAT about myself. Pretty soon my little moments of "hey, I've been doing good. I deserve a treat/break" gave way to consistantly making bad food choices instead of good ones. The desire to sleep in gave way to the need to work out before work. And before I knew it, my healthy habits had evaporated and I was back to my beginning.
I looked at myself in the mirror today and thought "enough is enough". ...

I deserve a treat/break" gave way to consistantly making bad food choices instead of good ones. The desire to sleep in gave way to the need to work out before work. And before I knew it, my healthy habits had evaporated and I was back to my beginning.
I looked at myself in the mirror today and thought "enough is enough". Enough with giving myself excuses that don't hold up and the end of the day. Enough with making poor decisions and saying "I'll do better tomorrow". Today was yesterday's tomorrow and I have determined to stop denying myself health and strength. I did this once before and will do it again. Starting today. : )

My Goals:
To feel stronger, have more energy, and get healthy again, not just lose weight (though that is a happy consequence of these actions that I sure am looking forward to!).
My Program:
Being more physically active, eating better foods and less portions, and most of all not making excuses for myself anymore.
Personal Information:
I'm from Colorado and love the great outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family and playing with my doggies. I'm a sucker for a good historical romance book, and I am obsessed with Pintrest. : )
