I'm a 31 year old girl who loves sports & exercise, but also loves to eat. I have fluctuated between 145 - 155 lbs for years (I'm 5'6"), but recently drifted above 155 lbs and could not deal with the tight pants anymore (and I refused to buy a bigger size...lol). After just two weeks or so of tracking calories and keeping my calorie count down, my pants are already fitting more comfortably, and I am so grateful (love the SP calorie tracker). It is so much nicer to get dressed in the morning when you're not choosing between "tight" and "borderline obscenely tight."

High Weight: 160 lbs (8/28/07)
Start Weight: 158 lbs (9/12/07)
Healthy BMI Weight: 114 - 154 lbs
Goal Weight Range: 135 - 140 lbs
Current Weight: 151 lbs (10/1/07)

Goal 1: Fit comfortably in my size 12 pants again. (completed 9/21/07!)
Goal 2: Weigh 150 lbs
Goal 3: Weigh 145 lbs
Goal 4: Weigh 140 lbs

My Goals:
* Not to focus on quick weight loss, but learn how to live healthier. I want to focus on eating right and exercising, and be patient with the weight loss.
* To like my legs enough to wear shorts or skirts...or maybe even fit into a pair of boots someday?? lol


My Program:
* Record calories & keep them between 1200 and 1550
* Track fitness; right now I am doing step aerobics 3 times per week to start out (2 of the aerobics classes include weights)



Personal Information:
I have 3 sisters and live in AZ. I'm an all-or-nothing type of person, but I would really like to be more moderate about lots of things, especially food. I am also an emotional eater, and try to get my needs met through food, apparently. I would like to get to the place where I turn to Jesus more and more to meet my needs instead of food or entertainment. I believe He is changing me, even if I don't seem to cooperate all of the time. :)


Other Information:
I love movies, sports, and dancing. I keep trying new activities all the time, so basically I am mediocre at lots of things, despite my desire to be good at something....anything! lol
